The seminar is jointly organized by U-TEAM and Awareocean Technology Co., Ltd. Since its establishment, U-TEAM has been continuously promoting renewable energy, environmental protection, and underwater noise prevention efforts. It also aligns with the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the global initiative to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. The protection of marine ecology, environment, and resources, as well as the development of renewable energy and maritime transformation, need to be accelerated.
In addition, representatives from the Ocean Affairs Council, National Marine Research Institute, ecological experts, scholars, and industry stakeholders in marine technology research and development have been invited to participate. Together, they will discuss strategies and goals, and the seminar will also showcase the latest advancements in marine technology.
