The Environmental Sustainability Department is responsible for air pollution control, climate change carbon management, and synergistic improvement governance for reducing air pollution and lowering energy consumption.
This department actively participates in the short-term, medium-term, and long-term emission reduction strategy planning of the central and local governments, as well as State-owned Enterprises, implementing and promoting the best feasible environmentally friendly solutions, and leading the way in exploring and practicing sustainable development.
Core technologies include:
Integrated services focused on air pollution control, ranging from atmospheric dynamics, air quality simulation, observation, and source tracing, to hazardous air pollutant analysis, air pollution reduction technology design, health risk assessment, and the review of air pollution fees and total emissions control.
Forward-looking services focused on climate change response, including corporate and engineering carbon audits, greenhouse gas verification and management, carbon sink assessment and calculation, as well as the construction of green finance and carbon trading markets, carbon fee collection and review, net-zero carbon reduction technology guidance, energy structure optimization, and corporate adaptation and transformation.
The department provides the most comprehensive professional technical services to clients, receiving recognition from industry, government, academia, and research sectors. Under a holistic collaborative governance framework, we address forward-looking issues related to air pollution and climate change.
Through 20 years of effort, Taiwan has successfully met ozone standards, and harmful pollutants, such as dioxins, have been reduced by over 90%. The department takes pride in these achievements. We continue to contribute professional expertise to help clients achieve their goals, including central/local environmental authorities, industrial park management agencies, the Railway Bureau, the Highway Bureau, the Water Supply Department, State-owned Enterprises (ex. power, steel, etc.) and port companies, all while maintaining a passion for improving the environment.
