Participation in the 2025 National Green Living and Toxic Chemical Disaster Prevention Education Outreach Campaign

To promote public awareness and knowledge of green living and toxic chemical disaster prevention, the Environmental Emergency Response Consultation Center of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology held the “2025 Nationwide Green Living Toxic Chemical Disaster Prevention Education Roadshow” on November 1, 2025, at the Zhuoshui River Estuary Ecological Base in Mailiao Township, Yunlin County. The event was jointly organized with the Chemicals Administration of the Ministry of Environment, the Maizailiao Cultural Association, and the Taiwan Chemical Safety Management Association. Through science-based checkpoint games and quiz activities with prizes, the event enhanced public participation and improved the dissemination of chemical safety knowledge.

SES, in implementing the Ministry of Environment Chemicals Administration project “International Trends in Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in 2025,” set up a booth at the event to promote PFAS safety knowledge under the theme “PFAS All Pass.” By introducing PFAS-related information, organizing interactive quiz-based games, and encouraging social media check-ins, the booth helped the public become more familiar with PFAS and raised awareness of PFAS-related issues, using fun and engaging activities to underscore the importance of collective action. The event successfully integrated public education, local culture, ecological conservation, and low-carbon initiatives, creating a comprehensive gathering that combined environmental protection, education, and social participation.
