Engineer Yen-Ting Lu has nearly ten years of experience in environmental engineering, specializing in air quality monitoring, stationary source control, and emission reduction strategies. He has supported the revision of seven major emission standards for power and petrochemical industries by Taiwan’s Environmental Protection Administration, effectively enhancing national pollution control.

He is deeply involved in air pollution prevention technology and monitoring research, promoting improvements in particulate matter, sulfuric acid mist, and visual pollution. He introduced U.S. EPA’s next-generation emission monitoring technology to identify abnormal emissions, with results applied to pollution reduction actions. His research includes 7 journal papers and 19 conference papers, with one awarded Best Paper.With strong interdisciplinary coordination and project management skills, he continuously applies scientific methods to support policy and implementation, contributing to Taiwan’s air quality and environmental sustainability. He was honored with the “Outstanding Young Engineer Award” by the Taiwan Institute of Environmental Engineering and received the award during its annual conference on November 14, 2025.
